Alton City Council discuss local topics including building and zoning issues

Alton, Illinois City Council met recently to discuss a variety of local issues, including zoning issues, taxes and bonds, and the Americans with Disabilities Act.

The council assessed the demolition of 619 East Broadway for the Building and Zoning Department, ordinances to abate the current tax levies in regards to bond issue ordinances, and the approval of the Americans with Disabilities Act Transition plan.
