Roxana Village Council discussed a contract with Scheffel Boyle for future audits

Accounting

At a recent meeting, the Village Council for Roxana, Illinois discussed a contract with Scheffel Boyle for 2016, 2017 and 2018 audits.

After approving minutes from the previous Village Council meeting, as well as the previous executive session meeting, the council looked at the Treasurer’s report and bill list. It then heard public comment and reports from department heads before moving on to a major administrative committee discussion.

The council first discussed a contract with Scheffel Boyle for completing the city audit for 2016, 2017 and 2018. It then authorized the Treasurer and Clerk to change the banking institution used from Illinois Funds to a local, cost-effective institution. In the last order of business, it discussed the renewal of the Service Agreement-Energy Aggregation with Good Energy.

The council then heard from the Public Safety Committee, the Public Works Committee and the Community Development Committee. After hearing any other new and unfinished business, the council held its executive session, discussing litigation and collective bargaining.
