During a recent meeting of the Roxana, Illinois Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, the women discussed holiday activities, family adoption updates and the Letters from Santa project.
Other orders of business included the Treasurer’s report, the authorization of bill payments, member sponsorships and resignations, and firefighter support. On the new business front, the group looked at the election of officers and reviewed the code of ethics.
The meeting was held in the boardroom at Village Hall, 400 South Central Ave.
The Roxana Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, created in 2008 to support firefighters and members of the community, is a not-for-profit group of women who host events and fundraisers including bi-annual blood drives.
