Madisoncountylogo

The Madison County Zoning Board of Appeals will consider a number of variances for residential and business buildings at its regular meeting on Thursday.

Board members will begin their review with visits to all of the sites in question, before returning to the Madison County Administration Building at 157 N. Main St. in Edwardsville for discussion.

The board will consider requests to build closer to property lines and adjacent buildings from Robert Adair Jr., Bryan Andreas, Carrie Andreas, Samuel Trauernicht, Cheri Trauernicht and JJG Farms LLC.

Also up for consideration is renewing Dillon Smith's right to site a double-wide manufactured home at 6254 Old Carpenter Road in Edwardsville for the next five years, as well as a request from Richard and Melissa Mark to build a metal accessory building on their residential site at 554 Forneris Lane in Collinsville.

Members of the board are expected to return to the Planning & Development Department Conference Room from their site tours and open public hearings at approximately 1 p.m.
