Godfrey board approves resolution to support Alton Regional Convention.
The Village of Godfrey board recently met to approve a resolution that supports the Alton Regional Convention and Tourism Bureau.
It also heard reports from various city committees. Public Safety and Finance gave standing reports, during which the committee approved of outstanding bills and the prior month’s payroll. Advisory reports were heard from Parks and Recreation; Planning and Zoning; Community Planning, Economic Development and Infrastructure; Special Projects Sewer; Climate Protection and Energy Efficiency; and Capital Projects.
The committee closed the meeting with comments from trustees, clerks and staff members, as well as comments from the general public. It then held a short executive session before adjourning.
