Roxana holds Fire Tax meeting to examine committee reports, discuss state of department.
Roxana, Illinois, recently held its Fire Tax meeting to examine committee reports, review miscellaneous and unfinished business and discuss the state of the fire department.
After calling the meeting to order and approving the minutes from its previous meeting, the committee assessed reports from the fire chief and committee secretary and treasurer. The committee then discussed old and new business before going over the state of the department as it heads into 2016.
Also of note at the meeting was the approval of committee bills, including $500 for the gun raffle and $160 for monthly bingo. The committee reviewed various communication notices, including a notice from the MCFA.
