The City of Troy, Illinois, recently held its regular city council meeting to discuss comments from the city administrator, give administrative and community services committee report updates and hear from its various committees.

City Administrator Soland complimented the Public Works crew on its work during the recent county flooding. The Administrative and Community Service Committee reported on upcoming Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals meetings.

Highlights from the various other committee reports included the city engineer noting a project related to the subdivision ordinance and a final walk through on the landscaping project at the bridge; Economic Development and Tourism Coordinator Myers stating the certification of the Enterprise Zone; and Alderman Greenfield giving some brief updates on the Water Plant Review Committee report.

Alderpersons present at the meeting included James DeCarli, Tim Greenfield, Regina Hendrickson, Sam Italiano, Dan Jackson, Douglas Partney and Troy Turner.
