Edwardsville City Council to meet on various committee issues.
The City Council for the City of Edwardsville, Illinois, will meet at 7 p.m. today, Feb. 2, to hear reports from its various committees.
On the legislative and executive front, the committee will discuss liquor licenses for three businesses: County Seat Café Inc., Taqueria Z and Seymour Studios LLC. The Finance Committee will discuss a Tourism Fund Request for the “American Legion Baseball Tournament and the Great Lakes Regional” in the amount of $5,000. Half of the fund would be distributed on approval. The other half would come after verification of advertising, sponsorship and other business-related expenses.
The Public Safety Committee will debate whether to approve the professional services agreement addendum with FGM Architects Inc. for $95,000 for additional architectural and engineering services for the Public Safety Facility.
The meeting will take place in the Edwardsville City Hall building at 118 Hillsboro Ave.
