The Madison County Finance and Government Operations Committee will meet Wednesday to discuss various purchasing resolutions.

The Madison County Finance and Government Operations Committee will meet Wednesday to discuss various purchasing resolutions.

The Finance and Government Operations Committee for Madison County, Illinois, will meet at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10, to examine a host of purchasing resolutions.

After approving the minutes from its previous meeting and hearing public comment, the committee will assess four purchasing resolutions. One resolution would modify the service agreement the county holds with AT&T for communications services for the IT department. Another looks to purchase one new Police Interceptor vehicle for the sheriff’s office.

A third resolution asks for emergency repairs to Lift Station #9A at the Madison County Special Service Area #1, and a fourth approves the construction contracts for the Southwestern Illinois Flood Prevention Council.

The committee will also look at the Dynegy settlement agreement, the motel tax reconciliation and a summary report of claims and transfers.

The meeting will take place in the administration building, located at 157 N. Main St. in Edwardsville.
