The Godfrey Capital Projects Committee is considering several Master Storm Water Plan revisions.

The Capital Projects Committee for Godfrey, Illinois, recently gathered at the Village of Godfrey Wastewater Treatment Facility to debate the costs and importance of a revision to the Master Storm Water Plan.

Godfrey’s Master Storm Water Plan was originally conducted in 1994. Mike Stumpf made a motion to inquire with SMS how much a revision and update would cost. The motion was seconded and carried.

Also of note at the meeting was a motion made by Joe Hughes, requesting an RFP Traffic Study be conducted to facilitate a development plan for scope of work throughout the business district. The motion carried.

Other motions included one to support the Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan proposal and one to recommend that Juneau Engineering revisit the Black Creek retention basin study to gauge current costs and determine the possibility of an alternate route to said basin.
