The Alton Historic Commission will hold a public hearing on the Middletown Historic District Re-Inventorying Project at its next meeting at 7 p.m. today in Alton City Council Chambers, 101 E. Third St.
Consultant Matt Bivens of Lafser and Associates will provide a presentation on the project. Comments and questions from the public will be taken afterward.
The commission will then discuss and possibly vote to proceed with any necessary steps to advance the project.
