The Finance and Government Operations Committee for Madison County convened Wednesday to discuss the Southwestern Illinois Flood Prevention District Council Budget Resolution.
The committee also assessed a resolution dealing with the Dynegy settlement agreement and looked at an immediate emergency appropriation for the 2015 Illinois Violence Prevention Authority Grant.
Multiple purchasing resolutions were looked at in the meeting: One resolution would award the contract for the emergency elevator repair project, while another resolution involved the purchase of one new 11 Wheel Caterpillar CE 16 Pneumatic Compactor for the Highway Department.
