Alton Historical Commission meets for new business

The Alton Historical Commission gathered for a meeting at 7 p.m. yesterday, July 19.

The Alton Historical Commission is charged with identifying, maintaining and recommending improvements to structures and areas of historical or architectural significance in the community. The commission meets at 8 a.m. on the first Tuesday of each month and at 7 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month.
