7-A. Mayor Eckert will recognize the character word of the month “fairness” meaning playing by the rules, being open-minded and not taking advantage.

7-B. Mayor Eckert will recommend the appointment of Christina McCullough to serve a 1 year term on the Historic Preservation Commission.

7-C. Mayor Eckert will move to reappoint Mary Smith to serve a 3 year term on the Library Board.

7-D. Mayor Eckert will move to reappoint Timothy Price to serve a 5 year term on the Zoning Board of Appeals.

7-E. Mayor Eckert will recognize Bob Kaiser in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Bob's Barber Shop.

Ward 4 Zoning Board Recommended Approval with the stipulations that the property be brought up to Code in regard to screening/trash enclosure and off-street parking.

12. Communications

12-A. Communication from Cathedral of Saint Peter requesting to host their 2nd Annual Cathedral Food Truck Fest on Saturday, September 20, 2017 from 4 to 9 p.m. They are requesting to close Harrison Street from 1st to 2nd Street on Saturday, September 20th from 9 a.m. to midnight, four barricades and placement of yard signs.

12-B. The original request from the Oktoberfest committee was for a 12:00 p.m. street closure on Thursday, September 14th. Due to a typo (2:00 p.m. closure) on the February 17th agenda and approval by Council on February 17th. Requesting 2:00 p.m. closure to be amended to a noon closure.
