City of Alton Committee of the Whole met August 7.
Here is the agenda provided by the Committee:
1. Call to Order.
2. Roll Call.
3. Audit of Accounts.
4. Resolution, re: That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute the attached lease agreement between National Railroad Passenger Corporation (“Amtrak”) and the City of Alton for the purpose of operating rail passenger service at the Alton Regional Multi-modal Transportation Center.
5. Resolution, re: The City Council of the City of Alton, Illinois desires to update its City Code to more fully comply with statutory requirements of the State of Illinois and that the attached ordinance be considered.
6. Resolution, re: That the Mayor and appropriate City officials are hereby authorized and directed to sign the attached Gordon Moore Park Naming Rights/Sponsorship Agreement with 1st MidAmerica Credit Union.
7. Adjourn.
