Here is the minutes provided by the Council:

The meeting was called to order with prayer by The City of East St. Louis ESDA Director Rev. Anthony Vinson

Present: Councilmen: Mosley Sr., Mickens, Eastern III

Absent: Councilmen: None

Mayor Emeka Jackson-Hicks/Present

Established a quorum @ 6:04 p.m.

Dorene C. Hoosman, City Clerk for the City of East St. Louis wanted to thank the Mayor, City Council, City Treasure City Manager and staff for their support during the death of her brother Mr. Hubert H. Hoosman Jr. Special thanks to Police Chief Michael Hubbard and Captain Bobby Cole and the police department. She asks that everyone just keep her and her family in prayer.

Presentation of The Minutes: (Tabled)

A motion was made by Councilmen Robert Eastern III and seconded by Councilmen Roy Mosley Sr. to table the minutes. Upon the question of the motion Mayor Emeka Jackson-Hicks called for the roll call vote.

A motion was made by Councilmen Roy Mosley Sr. and seconded by Councilmen Robert Eastern III to approve the proposed agenda. Upon the question of the motion Mayor Emeka Jackson Hicks called for the roll call vote.

A motion was made by Councilmen Roy Mosley Sr. and seconded by Councilwoman Robert Eastern III to approve. Upon the question of the motion Mayor Emeka Jackson-Hicks called for the roll call vote.

Report Of The Community Development Committee - Robert Eastern III, Chairman - No Report

Old Business: N/A

New Business: The Old Katherine Dunham Homes on 10" Street across from the Vivian Adams Elementary School need to be demolish. The Mayor stated that we need to contact the owner regarding this matter

City Manager Comments: City Manager Courtney Logan gave the City Council and updated the City Council on the following:

01. The Audit Meeting was this morning. We are moving fast to complete the City Audit for 205

02. The 25" Street Church located at Ridge and 25" Street - The Pastor has not completed their agreement on the demolition of the building.

03. The Fire Department has all new equipment

04. The Police Department has five (5) St JV's, three (3) Cars added to their department thru a grant.

05. City Manager Courtney Logan ask the City Council and Citizens to get involve with The Restoration Of Hope Project. A flyer was given out on the project.

City Council Comments:

Councilmen Roy Mosley thanks the City Manager and the Police and Fire Chief for the work that had done for their department. (New Police Cars & New Equipment for the Firemen)

Citizens Comments:

Miss. Dorothy Joshway: Had concern on the trash service in East St. Louis, IL. Ms. Joshway said that everyone needs to have the service.

The City Manager stated that we had a meeting today on this matter. The City Treasurer, City Clerk, City Manager and the City Attorney are working on a plan to attack this tracks and the billing of the trash, We are also looking into the problem of customers who are 90 days late on their payments.

Mr. Brook Harrison: A supporter of Restoration of Hope Project. He has test the booklet for himself and it works.

Mr. Stennis: A Stop sign is need at 22" & State Street. He had 100 citizens' signatures for a Stop Sign, Mr. Stennis also had a complaint from a matter that occurred in 2014. He gave pictures and a letter from the City to the Mayor.
