City of Alton Civil Service Commission met April 18.

A regular meeting of the Civil Service Commission was called to order at 8:15am on April 18, 2018, at Alton City Hall, 101 E. Third Street, Alton, Illinois.
Members Present: Terry Bristow, Vicki Searles-Williams, Jonas Janek
Members Absent:
Staff Present: Civil Service Attorney Patrick King
Guests Present: Lt Seth Stinnett
A motion was made by Ms. Williams and seconded by Mr. Janek to approve the minutes of the regular meetings on March 21, 2018. Motion passed.
Two Police Officer requisitions were signed.
Secretary III Public Works requisition was signed.
Park and Recreation job descriptions were presented to the commissioners for changes to be approved.
Approval was tabled so they can be looked over and discussed at the meeting on May 2, 2018.
One interview was held for the Jailer position.
With no further business, Mr. Janek made a motion, seconded by Mr. Bristow to adjourn at 8:40am.
Motion passed.
