b) Jennifer Lando, Board Clerk, $3,450 for June, July, and August Clerk fee and $6.70 for postage (Robinson);

c) Dennis J. Orsey, P.C., $1,500.00 (Retainer for Aug., Sept. and Oct.);

d) Lowery Consulting, $3,500.00 (Quarterly retainer);

e) Cameo Foster, $58.19 (partial reimbursement for IMTA Annual Conference fees);

f) Scheffel Boyle, CPA fees $235.00;

g) SHI International Corp, $213.87 for printer (Police 50% portion);

a) Discuss Trustee attendance at educational seminars to obtain required training hours and upcoming training events:

• 32 hour Certified Trustee Training at Lewis and Clark Community

College, Edwardsville; August 21; September 18; October 16; and

November 13, 2018.

b) Discuss results of April election / appointments for board members:

• Michael Beaber, active / elected, term expires 4/30/2018;

• Seth Stinnett, active / elected, term expires 4/30/2018;

• Larry Brakeville, retired / elected, term expires 4/30/2018;

• Kirby Ontiz, appointed, term expires 5/9/2018.

c) Discuss funding options being explored by the Municipality based upon

recent sale of City assets.

d) Review and approve revised Investment Policy & Guidelines as prepared by

Lowery Asset Consulting.

8. New Business

a) Election of Board Officers

i. President; ii. Vice President; iii. Secretary; and iv. Assistant Secretary

b) Discuss requirements of Illinois Open Meetings Act.

c) Discuss the Treasurer’s office processing pension payments late in a month.

d) Discuss inquiry from Officer Stedmann Middlebrook regarding a possible portability request.

e) Discuss inquiry from Officer Andrew Henderson regarding a possible portability request.

f) Discuss status of Annual Statement, Interrogatories and Audit to be filed with the Illinois Department of Insurance no later than September 30, 2018 (no extensions will be granted by IDOI). Filing must also include copies of minutes from all meetings and training certificates for all trustees.

g) Schedule special meeting prior to September 30, 2018 for review and approval of Annual Statement, Interrogatories, and Audit.
