City of Lebanon City Council met March 8.

Here is the minutes provided by the council:  

The council met in regular session by electronic means through Zoom. The meeting was called to  order at 7:00 p.m. by Mayor Wilken. 

Roll Call: Aldermen Fero, Gale, Jenkins, Johnson, Mack, Roma, Witty and Wright – present 

COMMITTEE REPORTS: 

Streets/Alleys – MEET April 5, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. 

Finance – MEET March 15, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. 

Ordinance – MEET April 5, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. 

Water/Sewer – MEET March 15, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. 

Cemetery – MEET April 5, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. 

Health/Safety – MEET March 15, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. 

COVID-19 numbers are: 

62254: Tested 9556 up 466 5 Positive Cases  

LCC: Stable no new cases 

Cedar Ridge: Stable no new cases 

Cedars of Lebanon: Stable no new cases  

Daily positivity: 5.8% 7 day positivity rate: 5.5 % 

Public Property – MEET April 5, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. 

Personnel – MEET March 15, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. 

1. Committee narrowed applications for Admin Assistant down to top 10 Clerk 

Treasurer – 

1. Treasurer asked everyone to review the tentative budget sheets. 

2. Aldermen Fero/Jenkins Motioned to approve the placement in the newspaper of the  Notice of a Public Hearing on April 12, 2021 at 6:45 p.m. concerning the 21-22 Budget. ROLL CALL: Aldermen Fero, Gale, Jenkins, Mack, Roma, Witty, and Wright – Yeas  MOTION passed 8-0 

3. Aldermen Witty/Mack Motioned to approve the RESOLUTION THAT TENTATIVE ANNUAL   BUDGET SHALL BE MADE AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC INSPECTION ON WEDNESDAY MARCH 31,   2021, AND THAT A HEARING ON THE BUDGET SHALL BE HELD AT 6:45 p.m. ON MONDAY,   APRIL 12, 2021. 

ROLL CALL: Aldermen Fero, Gale, Jenkins, Mack, Roma, Witty, and Wright – Yeas MOTION passed 8-0  

Mayor – 

1. Project Development Report is to be written in the next few weeks. 

Dept. Heads 

Chief – 

Streets/Alleys – AJ Dontigney spoke about the Farmers market dates being increased. 

Water/Sewer –

Building/Code Enforcement – silos on South Madison are in process of coming down. 

Accountant – 

Audience – 

Unfinished Business – 

1. McKendree Park Phase 2 will start when weather permits. 

2. Waiting for a meeting with Kyle Hogg. 

3. Attaining bids from janitorial companies for their services at City Hall. 

New Business –  

Adjournment – With no further business to be conducted, Aldermen Wright/Roma moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:50p.m.
