On Wednesday, March 13, former Gillespie High School standout Sydney Bires’ current college team, the McKendree Bearcats, lost 3-2 in their NCAA Division II game against the Caldwell Cougars.

The game took place in Winter Haven, Florida. This was their first matchup against the Caldwell Cougars this season.

The Bearcats’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 16 at 12 p.m. in Kansas City, Missouri against Rockhurst Hawks.
