There were five offenders convicted of property crimes released on parole near Illinois zip code 62223 during 2018, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the Metro East Sun.

The data shows that five men were among the parolees. The median age of the parolees sentenced for property crimes was 38. The youngest parolee was a 28-year-old man sentenced in 2017, and the oldest was a 49-year-old man sentenced in 2018.

The offender who was incarcerated the longest was Laron D. Ware. He was convicted of a property crime in 2007 when he was 26 years old. He is now 38.
