There were two offenders convicted of crimes against justice released on parole near Illinois zip code 62226 during 2018, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the Metro East Sun.

The data shows that both of the released offenders in 62226 were men. The younger parolee was a 23-year-old man sentenced in 2017. The other was a 51-year-old man sentenced in 2018.

The offender who was incarcerated the longest was Thomas Shepherd. He was convicted of a crime against justice in 2017 when he was 22 years old. He is now 23.
