There have been 4,123,306 residents in their 60s in the state who had been tested, meaning that 5.3 percent of those tested have the coronavirus. Through Jan. 6, there have been 2,339,534 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 28,260 deaths from the coronavirus in Illinois.
