City of Edwardsville Finance Committee met Sept. 28.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

Alderman Jack Burns called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. in the Governor Edwards Conference Room in City Hall, located at 118 Hillsboro Avenue in Edwardsville, Illinois.

Roll Call: Alderman Burns, Chairman, and Alderman Krause were present. Alderman Farrar was excused.

Also Present: Jeanne Wojcieszak, Director of Finance; Kevin Head, City Administrator; Eric Williams, Public Works Director; Cathy Hensley, Communication Coordinator; Matt Pfund, Edwardsville Resident and Charles Bolinger, Edwardsville Intelligencer.

No public comment was made.

Motion by Burns, seconded by Krause to approve the minutes of the Finance Committee meeting held on September 28, 2023. Motion carried with Burns and Krause voting aye.

Group Health Insurance Fund Insurance Report will be announced at the Tuesday, October 03, 2023 Council meeting.

New Business: 

Claims amount will be announced at the Tuesday, October 03, 2023 Council meeting.

Motion by Burns, seconded by Krause to approve and forward to Council a Resolution Authorizing a Redevelopment Agreement to Encourage Development Within North Main Street T.I.F. District of The City of Edwardsville, Illinois for 207 St. Louis Street. Motion carried with Burns and Krause voting aye.

Motion by Burns, seconded by Krause to approve and forward to Council a Resolution Determining the Intent of the City of Edwardsville, Illinois to Reimburse Itself for Certain Captial Expenditures. Motion carried with Burns and Krause voting aye.

Finance Committee will meet on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. in City Hall.

There being no further business, meeting adjourned at 4:08 p.m.
