A. Approval of Minutes from the September 10, 2025 Public Services Committee meeting:
Alderman Warren made a motion to approve with Alderman Hanna seconding the motion. All Ayes. Committee forwarded to Council for information.
B. Approval of a Sole Source Resolution for the Landscape Installation and Maintenance of the Goshen Road Medians in the amount of $54,363.76
Alderman Warren made a motion to approve with Alderman Morrison seconding the motion. Staff explained that this is for the installation and maintenance for landscaping in the medians along Goshen Road. All Ayes. Committee forwarded to Council for consideration.
C. Approval to Award the 2025 Crack Sealing Contract to Kinney Contractors, Inc. in the amount of $64,187.50
Alderman Warren made a motion to approve with Alderman Morrison seconding the motion. Staff explained that this is for sealing cracks throughout several subdivisions around the City. All Ayes. Committee forwarded to Council for consideration.
D. Approval of a Sole Source Resolution Authorizing the Police Department to Purchase the Nighthawk Software License from LeadsOnline from Funds Received from FY2026 Illinois Attorney General Organized Retail Crime Grant
Alderman Warren made a motion to approve with Alderman Hanna seconding the motion. Staff explained that this is for software to assist the police department in conducting investigations and improving efficiency and effectiveness. All Ayes. Committee forwarded to Council for consideration.
D. Approval of a Sole Source Resolution Authorizing the Purchase of Two (2) Whelen Vortex Weather Siren Controller Upgrades
Alderman Warren made a motion to approve with Alderman Hanna seconding the motion. Staff explained that this is for upgrades to two weather sirens located in the City. All Ayes. Committee forwarded to Council for consideration.
