HSHS Medical Group has announced that Courtney Garrison, APRN, has joined its Family and Internal Medicine practice in Maryville. She is now accepting new patients at the clinic located at 2401 S. Center St.

Garrison offers family medicine services for individuals and families of all ages. Her practice focuses on preventive care, routine screenings, women’s health exams, and management of chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, Type 2 diabetes, anxiety, and depression.

According to HSHS Medical Group, “Garrison’s patient care philosophy focuses on health promotion, disease prevention and patient education. She emphasizes partnership and clear communication so patients feel heard and empowered to make informed decisions.”

Garrison brings experience from bedside nursing in several areas including medical-surgical care, cardiology, neurology, critical care, and obstetrics. She also mentors nursing students and new graduates.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville and completed a Master of Science in nursing with a family nurse practitioner concentration at Maryville University. Her clinical training covers family and internal medicine, women’s health, urgent care, pediatrics, and hospital-based acute care.
