On Friday, April 4, former Freeburg Community High School standout Eli Hoerner’s current college team, the Omaha Mavericks, lost 6-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the North Dakota State Bison.

The game took place at Tal Anderson Field. This was their first matchup against the Bison this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 2 p.m. at Tal Anderson Field against North Dakota State Bison.
