Illinois State Representative Kevin Schmidt announced that his offices will be closed from December 24, 2025, through January 2, 2026. The closure is in observance of the holiday season.
Schmidt stated, “We are wishing everyone in the 114th District a joyful Christmas with loved ones and a holiday season filled with cherished memories!”

Schmidt was elected as a Republican to the Illinois State House in 2023 and represents the state’s 114th House District. He succeeded LaToya Greenwood in this role.
