Illinois State Representative Kevin Schmidt expressed gratitude to community members who contributed to his recent Holiday Food Drive. Schmidt thanked donors for their support, stating, “I want to give a huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped donate food during my Holiday Food Drive this week!”
He added, “Together, we will work to make this holiday season special for those in need.”
Schmidt emphasized the importance of access to food and basic necessities within the community. He encouraged individuals experiencing hardship to seek assistance, noting that resources such as local food pantries are available.
Schmidt has represented Illinois’ 114th House District since 2023 after succeeding former state representative LaToya Greenwood.
