Missouri Western’s Jackson Parrill pitches in 10-8 Division II loss to Emporia State

Jackson Parrill, a former Collinsville High School standout, took the mound for Missouri Western Griffons during their NCAA Division II baseball game against Emporia State Hornets on Tuesday, March 17, at 3 p.m. The Griffons came up short, falling 10-8 in the matchup.

The game was played at Griffon Baseball Field and marked the teams’ first meeting this season.

Parrill pitched three innings, giving up one earned run while walking two batters and striking out one.

Missouri Western will return to the field Friday, March 20, at 6 p.m. for a game at Rousey Field versus the Northeastern State Riverhawks.
