There were two offenders convicted of financial crimes or fraud released on parole near Illinois zip code 62226 during the first quarter, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the Metro East Sun.

The data shows that both of the released offenders in 62226 were men. The younger parolee was a 26-year-old man sentenced in 2018. The other was a 40-year-old man sentenced in 2018.

The offender who was incarcerated the longest was Andre D. Watson. He was convicted of a financial crime or fraud in 2018 when he was 39 years old. He is now 40.
