State Representative Amy Elik is organizing a free shred day in Glen Carbon, Illinois. This event offers residents the opportunity to dispose of paper documents securely. Participants can bring up to two bankers’ boxes of documents for shredding, and the cardboard boxes used for transport will be returned.

“I’m pleased to bring this free event to Glen Carbon,” Rep. Elik stated. “I hope that residents will take this opportunity to get rid of some documents you’ve been holding on to that need secure disposal. See you in Glen Carbon!”

The shred day is scheduled for Saturday, July 26, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Glen Carbon Village Hall located at 151 N Main Street, Glen Carbon. Participants are encouraged to drive to the location where staff will assist them.
