State Representative Kevin Schmidt announced on Apr. 14 that he will hold a Coffee Talk event in Millstadt on April 20, inviting constituents to discuss state issues and legislative updates.

The event aims to give residents of Millstadt and nearby areas a chance to speak directly with their representative about policies coming from Springfield and other matters affecting the community.

“My upcoming Coffee Talk event will give my constituents the opportunity to have conversations about policies coming out of Springfield,” Schmidt said. “I look forward to this event and encourage everyone in Millstadt and surrounding areas to stop by if you are available!”

The gathering is scheduled for Monday, April 20, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Millstadt Community Center, located at 102 S. Jefferson St., Millstadt, Illinois, 62260. Attendees can expect legislative updates from Schmidt as well as joint discussions about state-related issues.

Schmidt, a Republican, was elected to the Illinois State House in 2023 to represent the state’s 114th House District, replacing previous state representative LaToya Greenwood according to available records.

Community members are encouraged to contact State Representative Kevin Schmidt’s office with any questions regarding the event.
