On May 15, 2025, Rep. Bost announced the conclusion of a “15 hour long mark-up in the Agriculture Committee of the House budget reconciliation package.” He emphasized that this was a significant step towards “providing our farmers the certainty they deserve” here.
Later on May 15, he highlighted a solemn statistic from 2022 where “64 police officers were killed in the line of duty,” underlining the inherent risks faced by law enforcement personnel daily. Rep.
