Godfrey's Special Projects Sewer Committee met to discuss sanitary sewer relocation

The Special Projects Sewer Committee (SPSC) for Godfrey, Illinois met recently to discuss water issues, sanitary sewer relocation and the authorization of the 2016 meeting schedule.

The old business portion of the meeting included the impact of a sewer development at the northwest quadrant of the village, ARC American residential communities, Villa Marie water issues, the Frontenac Lift Station, an upgrade to the Northeast Interceptor and sanitary sewer relocation.

In regards to new business, the committee brought up specifications for Cure in Place Specs. Additionally, the committee authorized the meeting schedule for 2016.

Jeff Weber chairs the SPSC, which meets on the first Wednesday of each month. The committee’s members include Joe Hughes, Keith Sherman, Carl Arnold, Jerry Gibson, Mike Stumpf, Lowell Buettel, Bill Orrill and Joseph J. Springman III. Dave Kitzmiller advises the group and Debbie Wedding acts as secretary.
