The Information Technology Committee for Madison County, Illinois met recently to discuss regular monthly purchases and purchase requests, as well as various committee projects.
After public comment and approval of the committee’s previous meeting's minutes, the committee approved the regular monthly purchase orders. The group then approved the purchase requests of Boss Solutions, VMWare Maintenance and Dell Server.
The committee then turned its attention to a host of current projects. It discussed the Data Center Project, as well as update on the progress of the New World Project. Additionally, it gave updates on the Brownfield Grant, a new CMS system and an investigation into a STARRS grant for a regional helicopter video downlink.
In attendance at this meeting were Ann Gorman, the committee chair, and committee members Steve Brazier, Liz Dalton, Bill Robertson, Michael “Doc” Holliday, Jamie Goggin, Brad Maxwell, Timothy Renick and Tricia Lack.
