St. Jacob president, board of trustees meet to hear committee reports.
The St. Jacob president and board of trustees met recently to discuss reports and hear from various committees.
After approving the minutes from its previous meeting, the board heard public comments. It then discussed the homecoming and treasurer reports before moving on to committee discussions.
The committees in attendance included the Community Development and Health Committee; the Water and Sewer Committee, which discussed a new locator; the Police Committee; the Ordinance and Finance Committee; the Public Grounds & Buildings Committee, which discussed two ordinances related to tax levies and utility taxes; and the Streets and Lanes/Motor Fuel Tax Committee.
Before adjourning, the board also heard reports from the Public Works superintendent, village attorney, FOIA, Planning Commission, engineers, zoning officer and building inspector.
