The Madison County Transportation Committee plans to examine a host of resolutions at tomorrow's meeting.

The Transportation Committee for Madison County, Illinois, will meet in the County Highway Building at 7:30 a.m. tomorrow, Jan. 14, to examine a host of resolutions.

Resolutions include an agreement and funding resolution for Berkshire Blvd. resurfacing, a supplemental agreement for professional engineering services on Staunton Road, a resolution for the establishment of an altered speed zone in the Jarvis Road District and a resolution naming and renaming streets and private roads in unincorporated Madison County.

The committee exists to oversee the Highway Department and recommend the purchase and sale of rights of way. It liaises between the county board and the Madison County Transit District, as well as between the county board and the state and federal departments of transportation.
