Madison County Mental Health Board assesses announcements from its agencies
The Mental Health Board for Madison County, Illinois, recently met to assess announcements from the various agencies with which its works.
Ms. Berry from St. John’s Community Care noted that both adult day program locations were running well, especially as Illinois’ governor decided not to adjust the care center’s “determination of need” numbers, which would have made many of its clients ineligible for service.
From the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Southern Illinois, Ms. Baxter announced that the new facility the foundation moved into will help the group realize more in savings.
Michelle Cade, part of the group Call For Help, introduced herself as the new director for SAV-U, a program geared toward victims of sexual assault. She noted her plans for the program and education prevention efforts.
