The Roxana Village Council examined a Public Works Committee request at its recent meeting.
The Roxana Village Council recently gathered to listen to a Public Works Committee request for a furnace and hot water heater replacement at 223 S. Central, which is expected to cost less than $3,000.
The council also approved monthly bills, examined the treasurer’s report, heard public comment and assessed reports from department heads.
The Administrative Committee approved the development of the ADA/Self Evaluation and Transition Plan and appointed a designated ADA coordinator.
During the new business portion of the meeting, the council discussed allowing the Shell emblems to be painted along Chaffer Ave. in front of the school.
Before adjourning, the council held an executive session about the possible purchase of property.
