Village of Maryville Board meets on legal issues and ordinances

Meeting

Maryville's board met at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday to examine three legal matters and a host of existing business issues.

Initially, the board assessed a report of solid waste and recyclable volumes from Republic Services before moving on to pressing legal issues.

It also looked at a proclamation for Girl Scout Week, which takes place March 6 to March 12, and then discussed an authorization to apply for Park Commission funds from Madison County and an ordinance that would amend Community Improvement Board codes.

Existing business agenda items include repairs to Anthony Lift Station valves and vault and piping as well as the replacement of the station’s control panel.

The meeting was held at Village Hall, which is located at 2520 North Center St.
