The Collinsville board of fire and police commissioners recently met at Collinsville City Hall to discuss the hiring of new officers and firefighters.
The commission was expected to discus the hiring of Dylan Madron as a probationary police officer and Daniel Gorton as a probationary firefighter, as well as the promotion of David Bennett to captain.
The commissioners were also slated to discuss their testing process, particularly testing dates and police promotion testing.
