83.8 percent of Triad High School's 2015 graduating class enrolled in college
The 2015 state average for students in public schools was 70 percent.
For THS, its college enrollment rate marks an improvement over 2014, when 72.2 percent of its graduates chose post-secondary education.
Among high schools in Metro East, the class of 2015 college readiness rates at and were all lower than at THS. The data, collected by the National Student Clearinghouse, includes two and four year colleges.
Enrollment at THS in 2015 was 1,164. 303 (26.03 percent) were seniors.
Also according to ISBE, 53.6 percent of THS seniors were "college ready" in 2015, versus an average of 46 percent statewide.
All students who score a 21 on the ACT qualify as "college ready."
THS students did better on math (49.5 percent) and English (68.4 percent) and worse on science (40.9) and reading (46.7).
Only 29.6 percent of THS students were college ready in all four subjects, according to ISBE.
