Registration for the Edwardsville YMCA second-grade basketball program is underway, according to edwardsvilleymca.com.
The program for girls and boys has a registration cost of $37 per member and $55 per nonmember through Dec. 18. The late fee is $10, and registration will continue as long as space allows in the league. A jersey is included in the cost of registration.
The league will begin Jan. 7 at the Meyer Center, 7438 Goshen Road, and run until Feb. 11. The first three weeks of the league will focus on teaching the basics of the sport; practices will be held Saturday mornings. Scrimmages will be held during the league's final three weeks.
