The Edwardsville YMCA will host a lacrosse class starting Feb. 23, according to the organization's website.
The class will take place on Thursdays through April 6. The class, which is for boys and girls ages 7-10, will run from 5-5:50 p.m. each session. No lacrosse experience is required to participate. Helmets with facemasks, elbow pads, gloves and lacrosse sticks will be provided.
Registration for the class will start Feb. 6. Fees to participate are $40 for members and $25 for nonmembers.
A special free clinic will be held from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, on Court 3 at the Meyer Center. Registration is underway for the clinic and can be done by going to www.edwardsvilleymca.com, clicking on the “Registration” tab near the top and searching for “lacrosse.”
