They are having an interactive display from 10 – 1 for the students.
The displays will entail several pop up tents with tables, etc spread
throughout the quadrant.
Once again they will have the ILAWC 18’ interactive learning center
to offer hands on experience by testing water through various lab tests.
The trailer with truck will park in the first 3 parking spots along West
Main Street – NW quadrant between the Fountain and 1st Street. In the
past, the City allowed them to block off these spots that morning with
barricades and cones and as soon as the event was over, the spots were
reopened for the public use.
Additionally, we request the use of picnic tables and a couple dozen
sand bags to secure all the tents for the activities.
They have also sent this to several COB Departments, if there are any
concerns, they can advise and I will address the issues.
