Registrations for the "Rookies Sports Sampler" sessions at the Edwardsville YMCA are underway, according to the organization's website.
The camps, which are designed for kids ages 4-7, will allow participants to try basketball, baseball, volleyball and football. The basic skills necessary for each sport will get attention, but the camps will also touch on topics related to healthy living.
Registration for the first session, which is set for June 5-9, closes on June 4. The second session, which will run from July 10-14, has registration available until July 9. The individual classes in each session are from 9:30-10:45 a.m. at the Esic Center, 1200 Esic Drive.
The cost per session is $35 for members and $50 for nonmembers. A T-shirt is included with each registration.
