Here is the agenda provided by the Council:

7-A. Mayor Eckert will recognize Dennis F. Korte, Sr.

7-B. Mayor Eckert will recognize the following 2017 IHSA State Wrestling Champions from Althoff Catholic High School: Chase Bittle, Danny Braunagel, and Zac Braunagel.

7-C. Mayor Eckert moves to re-appoint August E. Werner, Jr. to serve a 3 year term on the Fire Pension Board.

7-D Motion to waive 10-day notice requirement for appointment under section 31.056 of the City's revised code of ordinances.

7-E. Mayor Eckert moves to appoint John Hartmann to Assistant Director of Public Works.

7-F. Mayor Eckert moves to re-appoint Tom Dinges to serve a 2 year term on the Police Pension Board.

7-G. Mayor Eckert moves to re-appoint Helen Thompson to serve a 3 year term on the Library Board.

7-H. Mayor Eckert moves to re-appoint Molly McKenzie to serve a 1 year term on the Historic Preservation Commission.

7-I. Mayor Eckert moves to re-appoint the following individuals to serve a 3 year term on the Planning Commission: Chris Rothweiler and Don Rigney.

11-D(1). Motion to approve the budget amendments as recommended by the Finance Director.

11-E(1). Motion to approve Change Order 003 in the amount of $0 for the Public Building Improvements Phase II- Renovations to 101 S. Illinois Street (City Hall).

11-E(2). Motion to support Mayor Eckert's current leadership position as 1st Vice President of Illinois Municipal League and acceptance of 1-year term as Illinois Municipal League President on September 23, 2017.

11-F. Motion from Planning Commission:

11-F(1). Motion to approve the Motomart corporate Office Test Kitchen Addition (721 W Main St.): Site Plan and Architectural Elevations for a 577 square foot building addition to an existing C-2 Heavy Commercial District- zoned structure.

12-A. Communication from Seven Restaurant requesting to have a block party on July 7, 2017 to celebrate their grand reopening from 7:00 p.m.- midnight. Requesting to close South High starting from 4:00 p.m. to midnight. Also requesting, 5-10 picnic tables and 4-5 extra trash receptacles.

Public Participation (2-3 Minutes Per Person)

(a) Members of the public may address the City Council in accordance with Section 2.06(g) of the Illinois Open Meetings Act (5 ILCS 120/2.06(g);

(b) Public comments are limited to three (3) minutes per speaker;

(c) The subject of public comments shall be reasonably related to matters(s) identified on the meeting agenda and/or other city business;

(d) Repetitive public comments should be avoided, to the extent practical, through adoption of prior public comment (e.g. agreeing with prior speaker);

(e) The following conduct is prohibited during public participation:

• Acting or appearing in a lewd or disgraceful manner;

• Using disparaging, obscene or insulting language;

• Personal attacks impugning character and/or integrity;

• Intimidation;

• Disorderly conduct as defined in Section 130.02 of this revised code of ordinances.

(f) Any speaker who engages in such prohibited conduct during public participation shall be called to order by the chair or ruling by the chair if a point of order is made by a sitting alderman.
