City of Belleville Electrical Commission met August 28.

Meeting called to order at 6:03 p.m. by Chairman Larry Glaenzer.

The minutes of the last meeting in July were read and approved as written.

Inspectors Report:
•In the month of June there were 153 total inspections. Of the 153 inspections, 65 were housing inspections and 88 were other inspections.
•Richard Voss, a longtime employee of Belleville and electric inspector for the city, due to illness will no longer be doing electrical inspections for the City. Dave Haas will be doing fill-in/backup inspections for the City.
Old Business:
•Kristopher Schmittgens, Christopher Garofalo, Les Benton, Scott DeRuntz, and Steve Houskawere approved to take the Prometric Test.
New Business:
•The requirement for long sweep elbows on the customer supplied side of the electric service was discussed. It was decided that the use of either long or short sweep elbows would work as long as it met the requirements of the NEC. E
•Janet to put the Sign Contractor Guidelines on next month's agenda for the commissions review and approval.
