Alton's Gipson has two sacks in McKendree Bearcats football loss

Alton graduate Ricco Gipson had two sacks, 14 tackles, three solo tackles for a loss and one assisted tackle for a loss in McKendree Bearcats football's 42-2 loss Aug. 31 to the Angelo St. Rams.

Gipson is a 6-1, 245 pound sophomore defensive lineman from Godfrey.

Up next: McKendree Bearcats football plays hosts Kentucky St. Thorobreds football on Sept. 9.
